    Thank you for shopping at The Writers Classroom (writersclassroom.co.uk). We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item or request a refund, we are here to help.


    1. Physical Products (Books, Printed Materials, Physical Resources)


    Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

    Under UK law, you have the right to change your mind and cancel your order for physical goods within 14 days from the day you receive your items.


    • How to notify us: Please email us at ffwritersclassroom@gmail.com within this 14-day window to let us know you wish to cancel.

    • Returning the item: You then have another 14 days to return the physical item to us.

    • Condition: To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.


    Return Shipping Costs

    • You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item arrived damaged or faulty.

    • We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


    Damaged or Faulty Goods

    If your physical book or product arrives damaged, misprinted, or faulty, please contact us immediately with a photo of the issue. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement for faulty goods reported within 30 days.


    2. Digital Products & Online Courses (E-books, Downloads, Course Access)

    Because digital products are delivered instantly, they are treated slightly differently under UK consumer law.


    • Instant Access/Downloads: By purchasing a downloadable digital items or immediate access servicces online course, you are consenting to waive your 14-day cooling-off period so you can access the content straight away. Because of this, digital downloads are generally non-refundable once the download or streaming has started, unless the file is corrupt or faulty.

    • Faulty Digital Content: If a digital file or course link doesn't work, please let us know. If we cannot fix the digital issue within a reasonable time, you will be entitled to a full refund or a replacement.


    3. How Refunds Are Processed

    Once we receive your returned physical item (or approve a refund for a faulty digital product), we will inspect it and notify you.


    • If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal).

    • Timeline: You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies (usually 5–10 business days).

    • Shipping Fees: If you are cancelling a standard physical order within the 14-day cooling-off period, we will refund the basic outbound delivery cost alongside the product cost.
