Assessment Description

The Master Storymaker: Holiday Special One Afternoon. Four Adventures. A Whole Curriculum of Fun. Give your child the ultimate creative boost this holiday. In this 4-hour immersive online workshop, we don't just sit and listen—we build, calculate, draw, and write. Led by a professional author and educator, this "Circuit" schedule ensures that every child stays engaged, active, and inspired. The Four-Hour "Circuit" Schedule Hour 1: The Cartographer’s Challenge (Geography & Maths) The Mission: We aren't just drawing a map; we are "Surveying the Land." The Task: Using grid paper to plot the "Secret Studio" coordinates. Skills: Scaling, 4-quadrant coordinates, and using compass directions (N, S, E, W). Hour 2: The Bestiary (Science & Biology) The Mission: Every land has creatures. We need to categorize them! The Task: Invent a creature and draw its anatomy. Is it a mammal? Does it have an exoskeleton? Skills: Classification of living things, habitats, and adaptation. Hour 3: The Narrative Blueprint (English Literacy) The Mission: The "Inciting Incident." Something has gone wrong in the lands! The Task: Using an "Action-Reaction" framework to write the first 3 paragraphs of a story. Skills: Sentence structure, fronted adverbials, and building narrative tension. Hour 4: The Geometry of Heroes (Maths & Art) The Mission: Designing the Hero using "The Rule of Shapes." The Task: Drawing characters using geometric constraints (e.g., “The head must be a hexagon; the body an isosceles triangle”). Skills: Properties of 2D/3D shapes, symmetry, and logic. What Your Adventurer Needs: A stable internet connection for our Zoom/Teams Studio. Paper (Grid paper is a bonus!), pencils, a ruler, and a sharpener. A mid-morning snack and drink (we take a 10-minute "Explorer's Break" every hour). Ages: Suitable for ages 4-8 (tasks are tailored to the child's age group). Siblings: Use code SIBLING15 at checkout for your second adventurer!
